The Maui Redevelopment Agency (MRA) is a five member board appointed by the Mayor and approved by the County Council to plan for the revitalization of the Wailuku Redevelopment Area, including specific development proposals and restoration projects. The MRA’s powers and duties are spelled out in HRS, Section 53-5, the Urban Renewal Law.
